Cara Brown works with electrophysiologist, Dr. Rajiv Mallik. Her prior clinical experience includes 14 years as a Registered Nurse, nine in Cardiac Stepdown, Medical ICU and Medical/Surgical. She also has three years’ experience as a Nursing Instructor with Trinity College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Cara attended Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006. She furthered her education at Grand Canyon University, receiving her Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Nursing Education in 2018. She continued her education at Maryville University, receiving her Post Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Cara is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
Cara has a personal and special interest in atrial fibrillation. She strives to provide the most up-to-date, quality, and compassionate care to her patients. She is passionate about learning and intends to continue adding to her knowledge throughout her career.

Cara’s personal interests include spending time with her daughter and her dog as well as staying active outside or at the gym.
