Hayley Mills,
DNP, APRN, AGACNP-BC

Hayley Mills works with Electrophysiologist, Dr. Helbert Acosta. Her prior clinical experience includes working as an Acute Care Registered Nurse on Medical/Telemetry/Surgical inpatient unit for 7 years at Genesis Medical Center.

​

 

Hayley attended Carl Sandburg College, Galesburg, Illinois and received her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2014. She furthered her education at the University of Illinois-Chicago, graduating with a Doctor of Nursing Practice and completing the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program in 2021. Hayley also holds a Bachelor Degree in Biopsychology from Monmouth College in 2012.

Hayley is Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Golden Key International Honour Society, American Nurses Association, Quad Cities APN/PA Alliance and the American Heart Association.

​

 

Hayley has received the Daisy Award, a patient nominated recognition of a nurse’s compassion and skills. She presented her doctorate project at multiple conferences including Mayo Clinic and the University of Iowa.

​

 

Hayley’s professional interests include providing quality care related to arrhythmia management, various device therapies and Watchman procedures, as well as learning about current cardiovascular research topics.
