From the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, CVM has been committed to protecting the safety and health of our Patients, Providers, and Staff.  Over the past months we have implemented measures consistent with this commitment.  We closely follow the recommendations of the CDC, state officials and Expert Medical Professionals modifying our processes accordingly.  At this time, we support:

  • ·                All staff, patients, and visitors consistently and appropriately wearing masks when in a                                            CVM facility or building

  • ·                Screening of staff, patients and visitors

  • ·                The ability to social distance when possible

  • ·                Expedited care to limit patient exposure within the office setting

  • ·                Adjustments to Outreach Clinic Schedules

  • ·                Focusing our Office Based Services to Patients with Urgent Needs/High Risk

  • ·                Provide Telephone/Telehealth opportunities to provide care to our patients from their                                           homes

Before your appointment, please review these questions.  If you answer YES to any of them, please call our office to discuss and possibly reschedule.

 

  • Do you have (or had in the last 72 hours?) a fever over 100.3?

  • Do you have any (new?) signs of respiratory illness: cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing?    

  • Do you have any of the following symptoms: chills, muscle pain, fatigue, head ache, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell?     

  • Have you been in contact with a person with known or suspected COVID-19 within the last 14 days?  

  • Have you tested positive for Covid 19?  If yes, when?

  • Have you been tested for Covid 19 and are awaiting results?

 

When you come to your appointment, please wear a face covering.  Please note, only the Patient will be allowed to enter the office (unless the patient is dependent and/or requires physical assistance.
