Rafat F. Padaria,
MD, FACC

Dr. Padaria received her undergraduate training at Jai Hind College in Bombay and her medical degree from Topiwala National Medical College in Bombay, India. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at a combined program at Georgetown University/VA Medical Center, Washington DC. Her Cardiology Fellowship was completed at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Her professional interests include Venous Disease management, Women and Heart Disease, Heart Failure management, and Valvular Heart Disease. She has coauthored several papers for publication.

Dr. Padaria is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiology. She is the Chair of Women in Cardiology (WIC) for Iowa ACC and an active member of Go Red for Women. Her professional memberships include the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography, the American Vein and Lymphatic Society, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association.

Dr. Padaria joined CVM in August 2003. She is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease. She is licensed to practice in both Iowa and Illinois and is available for outpatient consultation and follow-up visits at the Davenport and Geneseo locations. She has staff privileges at Genesis Medical Centers and UnityPoint Health Trinity.
